Meet our Leadership Team

STEVE EGGERT

Founder

Steven L. Eggert is the founder of American River Partners. He also founded Anton DevCo, one of California’s largest multifamily housing developers. He has built over 12,000 rental apartments in over 70 projects over 30 years. Mr. Eggert serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Overseers of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, where he co-founded the Hoover Study Missions program. He is a trustee of Claremont McKenna College. Steve and his wife Pam are active philanthropists, especially for educational causes. Steve is a major donor and activist for Republican political candidates and causes. He has previously served as a publicly elected local official and as a planning commissioner. Mr. Eggert earned his bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College and his law degree from U.C. Berkeley. He served as a U.S. Army officer and Airborne Ranger, stationed in Germany for over three years patrolling the Iron Curtain. He speaks German.

TRISHA MALONE

Chief Operating Officer

Trisha Malone is the Chief Operating Officer for American River Partners where she ensures that all aspects of the organization – from financial strategy, tax planning, and investment administration to risk management, governance, and reporting – operate seamlessly to support the family’s long-term goals. With extensive experience in real estate finance, development and ownership through an affiliate of the family office, Trisha works closely with the family to design and implement financial structures that preserve capital, optimize returns, and provide clarity across generations. Trisha is also President of the family’s real estate affiliate, Anton DevCo where she has developed multifamily housing for more than 25 years. Trisha began her career in public accounting, where she gained experience in both tax and audit with a focus on real estate and non-profit clients. She earned her Bachelor of Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento, and is an inactive licensed CPA in California.

JIMMY MCNAMARA

Controller

Jimmy McNamara is Controller at American River Partners. He joined the team in 2021 and is currently responsible for direct oversight of all accounting functions, including the accounting team, cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting for the organization. Jimmy is a Certified Public Account and prior to American River Partners, he was a Senior Audit Associate for EY in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. At EY, he worked on the financial statement audits of clients across various industries.

JULIA EGGERT

Investment Analyst

Julia serves as the Investment Analyst at American River Partners. She began her career as a marketing and administrative professional at nationally recognized real estate firms including CBRE, Colliers, and Shopoff Realty Investments. Julia holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of California, Irvine.

SHARON PARKS

Senior Operations Manager

Sharon Parks is Operations Manager for American River Partners and is responsible for the management of the stabilized real estate assets. Sharon began her career working as an accountant for a real estate company in San Francisco and eventually moved to Los Angeles where she worked for a commercial and industrial real estate company for over ten years. Following that tenure and prior to joining the American River Partners team, Sharon served as Assistant Controller and Controller for St. Anton Partners for over 13 years and was responsible for managing the assets and accounting department.
